Lisa’s Superpower

Home » Lisa » Lisa’s Superpower

As a young girl, Lisa was unaware of her superpower. She didn’t even know that someone could have any superpower at all. She thought she was just an ordinary girl from the Earth.

So, how do we, readers, start to notice Lisa is special? Remember that episode in the dark forest?

“At one moment, she heard a very loud cracking sound deep in the bushes on her right but when she finally had the courage to look there, she saw nothing. She walked on but the cracking sounds repeated now and then.

“Was there a wild animal hiding in the bushes? A deer or a wolf? Or maybe, even worse, someone was watching her silently?” she thought in horror, staring into the darkness.

Lisa got the chills. The forest terrified her a lot now, but she had to go on as it was getting darker and darker and there was no way back.

Sometimes, when pushing the overhanging branches apart, she saw her hands faintly glow blue. It didn’t frighten her, it just seemed strange. “It must be because it’s so dark here that I’m seeing things, I’m sure everything’s fine,” she cheered herself up.

Despite her deep fears and strange visions, Lisa felt mysteriously brave. She knew the gnomes would have told her if there were anything dangerous with the forest.

Yet, she was listening to any noises or voices and literally jumped out of fear when an owl screeched over her head as she was passing a tall fir tree. Well, that was too much, and the girl was very happy when she finally walked out of the forest.”
