Ricecastle lies north of Peppermintville, at the mouth of the Milky River on the Pearl Sea. The port town is famous for its concerts and football matches over the weekend and for a big market where you can buy and sell virtually everything.
The ships from all corners of the magic world arrive at the port of Ricecastle every day, bringing hundreds of visitors to the legendary place.
Why is Ricecastle legendary?
A long time ago, when Hugo was young, Candyland was viciously attacked by goblins. The Bitter War lasted for three long years of hope and despair, pain and courage.
Protecting Candyland, Hugo’s father, King Louis of the House of Brûlée, died. His health was poor, but he still participated in the war as he felt he had to protect his land together with other soldiers.
Candyland’s army eventually defeated the enemies in the fierce Battle of Ricecastle, and they did it with wit and valor.
